My husband and our youngest son went to Boaz to buy a car and stopped by here to eat lunch. It was so good. The broccoli and cheese soup was fabulous and the chicken salad was even better. It was very clean and very comfortable.
I love good soup and was pleasantly surprised to find not one but 5 or 6 choices of soup on the blackboard on my very first visit to the Mill Street Deli.
I chose the vegetable beef and it was not a mistake. It was...a good, hearty soup.
I also had the Mill Street Club sandwich. This is a true “Dagwood” style sandwich piled high with ingredients. It was good.
My wife had the quiche and I sampled it. I’m sorry to say it did not make the grade.
The daughter had the salad platter. She enjoys this dish regularly as she is a student at nearby Snead State College.
She also had the coconut pie for dessert. She said “This pie tastes just like sunscreen smells.” I thought that was a criticism until I tasted it and knew exactly what she meant. I got a second bite.More
Very unique decor but the sandwiches are great and they make very good cheesecake. The prices are decent and the people who work there are nice. It may throw you off by the look of the outside and the decor inside but it’s worth the...stop and eating the food.More
