We arrived at 18:30. Were told very few menu options left. We ordered soup with meat and vegetables. Waited for more than 40 minutes. Food arrived half cooked and cold. The place was very cold. No heating. Staff was not polite.

The ambience is nice, staff speaks good english but the food was just ok (the mutton dish was tasty, but i would not order the yak kebaba ever again) plus too expensive for what you get !! If you venture deeper into tibetan areas skip this one..

What can I say??!! Simply amazing food.. And the nicest, friendliest staff. I had the Tibetan style shepherds pie, whilst my boyfriend took a yak dish.. Delicious! Nice and cosy with lovely decor!! Superb!

Had a great meal at Abu Lu Zi. The sizzling lamb was fantastic as was the grilled meat pancakes. The owner spoke good English and guessed immediately where I was from. The blessing "singing" at the end of the meal was a great way to end the meal. The prices aren't the cheapest but it was a good meal and... More

This place serves fantastic food! Lots of different varieties of yak meat dishes! The food was delicious. We came back the following night. The waiter also sings a traditional Tibetan verse and offers free Tibetan scarf to everyone eating. This was a very nice touch! He had a superb voice too!

We have been in Abu Lu Zi several times during our stay. The food, location, music and the service were always excellent. Clear it's not the cheapest location, but much better then sitting in the cheapest and noisy Chinese restaurants close to here. This place we will recommend to our international friends in Shanghai during their stay.

I do not understand what all the fuss is about. The restaurant has a nice ambience, sure. The staff is nice as well. And the dishes are tibetan. I had a yak dish, which was okay. Not as special as one might imagine. A bit too greasy, although that might just be the tibetan style. Compared to the restaurants around... More

Initially dubious I was very pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious! Never thought I'd like yak but it was great. Service was impeccable and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely highly recommend.

It's a typical Tibetan cuisine and everything is good. It's a different food from the chinese food with some fresh vegetables, yak and potatoes, noodles and obviously tea or butter tea. The price is right and i think this is the best restaurant in Jiuzhaigou.
