Got there on Saturday evening before 7:00 and we were told a 45 minute way, ended up being about 20. Start the meal with Food Truck Nachos, I had to hold the tin plate still to keep it from flying off the table. We loved...More

Came here after an afternoon at Vulcan Park. Really good grilled sammies- the Cuban and the Summer Tomato were the standouts. Good sweet tea and local brews. Can’t ask for anything more!

Melt is the home of the Adult Grilled Cheese. Our group of four went on a relatively busy night. There was a 30 minute wait but going into to bar and grabbing a drink while waiting was very pleasant. The outside area has lots of...More

Ate here on a Saturday with my wife and was looking forward to a great day. We sat down at the bar (no other seats available). The bartender was not at all into customer service. Took forever to get our app. Took forever to get...More

Get there earlier than you want to eat because there is always a wait out the door. That’s because the food is great. I had a picky order but they were happy to deal with it. Will gladly return.

Don’t let the ride here deter you. Avondale is quaint and trendy. Awesome food. Started with fried pickles with a dill ranch dipping sauce. I had the raging Cajun spicy cheeses with a generous grilled chicken corn breast. Great service. Well done.

My favorite is the classic grilled cheese with bacon, cheesy goodness with crispy bacon. The cheeseburger is huge and the Ragin Cajun has just the right amount of spice! Fried pickles appetizer and fried oreos were great ways to start and end our meal! Service...More

Yum! Mac & Cheese has always been a favorite but now it's on a sandwich?! #gamechanger. I will definitely stop on our next road trip.

We went in for lunch and I had the Cuban roll and my wife had the tomato basil pesto sandwich. Everything was very good. The service was excellent. It was a neat place to go into. One negative thing is I think it's on the...More

The food truck nachos are excellent. My wife had the Cuban sandwich and said it was great. I had the mac and cheese grilled cheese sandwich. Pretty good, but is missing some seasoning. A little bland. Overall a good lunch in Avondale.

Yep, 3 short blocks. I agree that Post Office Pies ( pizza) and Saw's BBQ are equally great choices. There are lots of restaurants popping up along this street, but these would be my top picks.
