Look, I get it. It makes you think of Taco Bell. It isn't authentic. The kitschy cactus throws you off. You're exactly right. And for that reason, you couldn't be more wrong. No, this is not Taco Bell. This is locally owned, all fresh ingredients, delivered on a small scale, and of the highest quality you will find in the... More

Doesn't look like much, but it is very good for the price. It may be better than any of the other higher priced Mexican restaurants in town.

Portions are tiny. At first I thought it was a good price for the burrito... Until I saw the mini burrito wrapped in cellophane. Are the other reviews a joke?

Locally owned and operated by owners. Quality ingredients. Can order "your way" and no worries about ending up with nothing on your taco, like some national brands. Favorite is chicken chili burrito.

Just like the title implies and the name of this fantastic eatery, "Taco Casa" is my home for great tacos. They used to have another one on Hwy. 280 many years ago and to my surprise, they only have one in Homewood, AL (which is basically at the Wildwood area just off the I-65 interstate, right next door to Birmingham)... Looking for a late evening "snack" we went to the Taco Casa near our hotel. The service was a little off as they were training a new cashier. However, she got plenty of help, and was trying her best. We thought that the staff. was very friendly and helpful. The food came out hot and fresh in a timely manner.... More

My all-time favorite! Anytime I get a chance to stop here, I will! Forget the calories and fat! At one point, I was back and forth in Birmingham so much, I felt the staff at Taco Casa knew my name and I felt shamed so I had to cut my visits in half. But the food is always fresh and... More

The food is a step up from Taco Bell. Has some unique items that I enjoy. Worth it, especially if you don't have time for a traditional Mexican restaurant.

I ordered through the drive-thru. I was not happy with the food quality or packaging. Dining in while the food is hot may make a difference. However, I felt the food was under seasoned. I wouldn't eat here again. If I would choose Taco Bell over Taco Casa.
