We went to the lonely tree as we were guests of the arrupe centre who help run the cafe - it is a fantastic initiative to get disabled people into the workforce. Our meal was so delicious, as was the home made lemonade and the...More

We went here for our dessert since the place was highly recommended by the Lonely Planet. The setting is nice and the service was great. However, the chocolate cake and the lime pie was just not good and not so tasty. So don't have to...More

Great dishes and a lovely atmosphere! Service was excellent: fans on, complimentary water, quick service (but not too quick). The salad is a lot, I ordered it as a starter but could be a main dish as well. Wine is good as well and fairly...More

We liked the restaurant. The waitresses were friendly and the food came fast. I saw that people criticized on TripAdvisor the small menu choice, but I love it that way. Anyway, they have salads pasta and more. I think there is for everyone something to...More

Really nice fresh food, with a vast menu! The staff are really sweet and helpful. The street is lovely, and it's nice to sit out on the small balcony and look at the world passing by! I would recommend the LTC salad!

Description
The Lonely Tree Café is a social enterprise with the goal to obtain profits to help finance the social projects of the Apostolic Prefecture of Battambang. The projects we support cover a wide range of humanitarian aid including education, support for the disabled, healthcare and preservation of Cambodian cultural heritage. At the Lonely Tree Café we give employment to underprivileged and disabled people: the staff consist of vulnerable youth and most of the products sold in the Lonely Tree Store are crafted by people with physical disabilities who are in permanent need.
