Nice position up above their shop. We had a chicken burger which was good and thai basil chicken also good. It's food done well, and the ethos of the place is nice. We had a nice time there, not necessarily a place I would return to with a short time in battambang as there's lots of other nice places to... More

Owner is to cheap to turn on fans and when you do they follow right behind and turn them off. Not recommended.

The staff is quite nice. It was very busy when we were here, so we waited 1 hour for our food. The food itself was alright, but it was nothing special.

An interesting menu offering more than Khmer foods. The restaurant is delightful inside with a balcony opening onto the street . Downstairs the clothes are made from beautiful fabrics with lovely styles and are much better value than the mass produced stuff offered in markets.

Good food, good staff, good prices, nice view. What more? They are doing a nice thing with the association to help young people. It's worthwhile to support

This is a wonderful cafe to hang out and chill over a beer or excellent coffee. Very good mix of Western dishes (my kids especially liked the Beef Cheese Burger) with Spanish options and delicious Asian food. Some other reviewers say the dishes are expensive, but I'd rather eat here and donate as its a social enterprise than go anywhere!... More

I don't get why this place is in the cheap eats category. For Battambang it is very overpriced and pretty limited menu. Their panini is actually an open baguette. No coffee on the menu. Nice shop downstairs and the interior is really nice but not what I expected after reading the reviews

When you enter The Lonely Tree Cafe you are surrounded by an assortment of Handcrafts, mostly clothing, that are for sale. So where's the restaurant? It's up a flight of wooden stairs. The room is long and narrow, surrounded by bare brick walls and some nice simple artwork for decoration. For some reason, it is a comfortable space. There are... More

We came to this restaurant three times in two days as we stayed at the BTB hostel down the road. We have been traveling around Asia for 5 weeks and craving some tasty western food for awhile but always found very average stuff. We ordered the chicken burger with fries and it was very yummy and exactly what we were... More
