Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fresh and delicious in an extraordinary setting in the heart of the old town. Large selection of dishes. Delicious octopus and shrimps, plus avocado salad with dressing. We recommend.

Excellent service, excellent food and excellent location and ambiance. I give this place 10 out of 10! We stayed in Nessebar 3 nights and ate dinner here every night. The Mushroom pasta is the best. Do not skip on the bread. It is also the...best. And the Mussels are the best we have had.More

Came here for dinner as it is the no. 1 restaurant in Nessebar. Good service, nice wine and fish dishes to die for. My wife had the shrimp, I had the stuffed squid to start and we shared the garlic bread, which was all delicious....I had the large sea bass and my wife had the t bone steak. I thoroughly enjoyed my fish but sadly the same couldn't be said for my wife's steak, it was too salty and the fat hadn't been seared properly.More

We called in for a drink after a lovely walk around the harbour, my husband said it was the nicest pint he’d had in Bulgaria. After looking at the menu and checking out reviews we decided to return a couple of evenings later for a...meal. We were not disappointed, my husband wanted king prawns as a main but they were on the menu as a starter, no problem, the chef made him a dish specially, they were delicious. I had a pasta dish also with a side of garlic bread to share. For desert we had a slice of cheesecake which was devine! We would 100% recommend, great welcoming staff, amazing food and drinks and excellent value for money.More

Went in for a drink and a spot of lunch. Internal and external seating is available. The staff a very attentive and ready to assist. I had 2 beers, 2 glasses of very good red wine and lunch had grilled octopus with salad all for...around £30, well worth it. My one and only criticism is on the chef who cooked the octopus well but unfortunately failed to clean the plancha prior to cooking it, he had obviously cooked a steak before it and I could taste the steak on my lunch. If I go back to old nessebar, I will definitely return to the old sailor, that assuming I can find it, the old city is a labyrinth of streetsMore

Found the restaurant in the centre of old nessebar after reading the great reviews on Trip Advisor. We took our seats over looking the ruins of the Church of Saint Sofia, and were attended to by lovely friendly staff. The menu isn’t large but has...plenty of choice. I ordered a Caesar salad which was a lovely tasty dish, just what I wanted as a light lunch.More

Justifiably highly rated with attentive hosts, this restaurant has a picturesque view right in the centre of the Old Town. A very varied menu with fresh fish a speciality and reasonably priced.

My friend chose this restaurant based on Trip Advisor reviews and we were not disappointed. We booked ahead via WhatsApp link from the website. When we arrived the whole of Nesebar was very quiet as it was the start of the season, we were the...only diners in the restaurant! I had the cheese salad for starter, which was HUGE ! I really think they should consider two portion sizes of that dish as it was really enough for the main meal. It was beautifully presented and very fresh and tasty. For main i had the lamb, which was delicious. The meat was very tender and the roasted dill potatoes were divine. The wine menu was varied and well priced. Would definitely recommend this placeMore
