Lovely quaint family run restaurant with great choice of food.came back from a morning of skiing and afternoon of spa so was lovely a DJ relaxed and decided to try somewhere new for our wedding anniversary. Didn’t want loud and rowdy with music, just quiet,...good beer, service and food and this place does not disappoint.
Got a lovely collection of tea towels and flags that repeat customers have night back which shows what a great repeat clientele this place has.
Some of the food is cooked on the fore I the middles of the room so not only a great atmosphere and cozy but the food is amazing!!
What more could you ask for your anniversary.More
We came here and had stuffed mushrooms to start, and beef on a spit for main. The meat was barbecued in front of us on an open fire and cooked too perfection. The quality of the meat was incredible and the skill behind the cooking...is great. Would recommend too anyone looking for decent food at a good price.More
We always visit Hunters for the delicious food and family atmosphere. You must try the BBQ meats cooked in the fire - the "assorty spit" is my favourite, and if you want something from the kitchen, the sach is amazing. The Turkish bread is a...great starter too.More
Booked meal at family run hunters, amazing meal and service, introduced daughter to a Sach, son had a beautiful trout, cheese in a pot was lovely, special service with the white wine, the owner went and filled a wine cooler with snow. Highly recommend
We were there with our two children
Location: it is around 100 mt down the gondola station, opposite site of Ela Hotel so easy to walk from the ski areas.
Atmosphere: As we went there for an early dinner at 18:00 the place was completely...empty and we sat anywhere we wanted . It's a small cottage with a small bar a side and a fireplace in the middle where your food is grilled (see the photos I uploaded).
Service: The sun is taking care of the service where the father is at the grill and the mother inside in the kitchen. We had some time to chat with them, they were all very sympatric and positive. The son offered us a meal which was not in the menu. He explained us that his parents found this very good meat in the butcher and bought for them but who was lucky (that’s we were) could get some portions. It was a pork roast cooked very long time in the oven.
Food: We ordered a housewine which had a good price/quality ratio. As appetizers we took some cold cuts, they were good but not extraordinary, beside this platter we took the Tripadvisor recommendations and ordered a Turkish bread, which was very delicious. As starter we shared a chicken soup and a veal soup, both were delicious. Our main dishes were a mixed grill which was OK, slow oven cooked pork roast which was so soft and delicious and a local food made with meat and some vegetables and a plain egg above all of them , my wife loved it. We didn’t ask any desert nor any tea or coffe
The bill: We paid for all 150 Leva (aprox 79 Euro) . Please note that Credit Cards are NOT accepted, so you should come with cash money.
Last to remind: We have been there off season, not weekend, and for early dinner; it was empty but as we were leaving several tabled were occupied and two big tourist groups booked for totally 20 people, which means it would be full; so better book before you go.More
We were looking for a local place for leisure dinner with friends and we found a place with Hunters. As the previous evening we were having plenty of meat we decided to go vegetarian meals only.
The order time was a bit extended as well...as the preparation of the dishes.
We had a great salads, locally baked bread and plenty of vegetables.
Make sure you have a reservation in advance.More
