Nice atmosphere, unpretentious, has a vast menu with great dishes from different areas in Brazil. Quite reasonable for what you get.

After dining at DOM and Mani (and Lasai in Rio), we were more or less out of money :) So, this was a good choice for a more reasonably priced restaurant. The good and atmosphere is also more traditional Brazlian, rather than the creative food at the aforementioned establishments. Overall we're glad we dined here and would do so again.

Delicious food from several Brazilian's regions . Amazing place . Warm staff. The chef MARA prepares everything with passion ! The quality of Tordesilhas is the same since I went for the first time in 1994 !

I have come to not expect much from Brazilian food except for a good steak and a good salad. Tordesilhas really goes against this perception. Its a restaurant that works with ingredients and flavors from all over Brazil and puts them together ina playful manner. There was a soup with a leaf that makes your mouth a bit numb, there... More

Taken here by a São Paulo culture and food maven who knows the chef. This is one of those restaurants that has developed a reputation for what they do with more modest cuts of meat, not the expensive ones. The mission is to demonstrate that you don't have to use just the costly parts of an animal or the most... More

If you are in São Paulo and want to try regional food from the Northeast, this has got to be your choice. From the muqueca (serving for one person), to the carne de sol, to the caldeirada, to the several plates that serve fish from the amazon - all the plates are excellent. You really can'y go wrong here.

Staying in Jardins

Neighbourhood Profile
Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighbourhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighbourhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.
