Small is beautiful I knew what I was coming for, so I knew I was going to spend money and eat little, but have an experience. The restaurant is very well known in São Paulo and one of the top restaurants in the world, according to some list. While it is known, you hear more about Fasano as the place... More

A unique experience that gives you a chance to try one of the best ranked restaurants in the world and some of the very peculiar tastes of Brazil and the Amazons. We were a group of seven and all tried their next to top menue, that included a total of 11 dishes. The portions are small but enough to get... More

What can you say about DOM other than perfection! We had dinner to celebrate our move to São Paulo and what a dinner! We order both vegetarian menu and normal meat dish for my husband. Everything was exquisite. My absolute favorite was a flower ceviche and roasted roots vegetables. Got to meet chef Alex at the end of the meal... More

We've dined at quite a few Michelin 3-star and World top 50 restaurants and this definitely ranked among the best. We dined at lunch on a weekday (in July) and it was not full. We actually mistakenly went to the old location, but the new location is very nearby. Elegant atmosphere, though you could get away dressing very casually if... More

As I was invited, I cannot comment on the price, however the tasting menu with pairing wines was outstanding. Most memorable were a mushroom flan and an amazon fish dish

6 months we've waited. We booked our flights to Brazil around the dinner reservation at DOM. That's how important this was for us. It was supposed to be the highlight of our trip, but disappointment was the only word that came to mind by the end of the night. Not all waiters spoke English even though they asked us if... More

I had the 6-course vegetarian meal for dinner. I have to rate this as the most exotic dining experience I've had. They source a lot of ingredients from the Amazon, not found anywhere else other than Brazil. Meeting Chef Alex Atala was icing on the cake. It is on the pricey side, but well worth it if you're a tourist... More

We visited for our 10th anniversary hoping for a wonderful experience. DOM definitely provided this. Every course was delicious and paired perfectly with equally delicious wines. Of note were the desserts, which I often find less enjoyable as I definitely am not a sweet tooth. I was therefore amazed how much I enjoyed them. Book far in advance!

My wife and I along with other friends went to DOM. The restaurant is very nice, and everyone at the restaurant was well dressed. We all did the Tasting menu Max meal with wine paring. Now... of the 10 or 12 plates that came out, I would probably repeat three dishes again. Each dish was exquisitely artful. The flavors were... More

Staying in Jardins

Neighbourhood Profile
Jardins
Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighbourhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighbourhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.
