It was our first time visiting Jardins in Sao Paulo and we were looking for something nice to eat. We had dinner at Sarrasin and were very happy with our choice! The atmosphere felt very french and cozy while sophisticated at the same time. We ordered Caipirinhas, which were some of our favorite in all of our visit in Brazil!... More

Sarrasin has been a personal favorite for a while. I'm a loyal customer since they first opened at a small house in Pinheiros. This new location couldn't be better. It has the same cozy environment, but in a buzy and perfectly located street in Jardins. The food always seems to surprise me, especially is paired with one of the nice... More

One must ring te bell to enter and be hosted by one of the very gentle proprietaries, a unusually warm and personal treatment. Sarrasin does not serve properly crepes, but galettes which are prepared with a dark wheat and produces a incredibly crunchy and light dish. The Voltaire (glazed fig, chevre and a tasty ham called copa) is on e... More

We recently visited Sarrasin based on reviews we that we read online. We arrived at 7:30pm (early for dinner in Brazil) and we seated right away. No one at the restaurant spoke English but they were so kind to get the manager on the phone! He apologized for not being there and quickly made his way to the restaurant. This... More

galettes are thick (thicker than crepes) pancakes into which they insert creams and sauces. here, the stuffings are tasty, but the gallettes are so thick and hard that they were simply inedible. service was good, the mixed drinks were strong but not well mixed. overall disappointing.

Great service, excellent food. It really surprised me. The serving is enough if you order appetizer and dessert (we ordered and tottaly worth it, everything was great). A little bit expensive, but it was a delicious experience. Will come back for sure.

We were referred to Sarrasin by friends who had eaten there many times and absolutely loved the crepes and gelado. We went for ourselves and from the moment we walked in the door, we were entirely delighted with every aspect of our experience, from the ambiance to the creative and incredibly tasty crepe choices to the "I am still craving"... The place is nice but no big deal. The dishes are for one person only - and one without a big apetite like me. The "pastéis" as a couvert were quite nice, but the dishes were really nothing special.

We read very complimentary reviews so booked on a short visit to SP. Three of us arrived at 8:30 p.m. to an empty but very lovely restaurant. They were featuring a special tasting menu as an option, focused on a wide sampling of galettes. The three owners oversee every detail. We were quite simply blown away by the unique flavors, charming... More

Staying in Jardins

Neighbourhood Profile
Jardins
Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighbourhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighbourhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.
