Highly recommended that you get a reservation to this hot spot. Also, if you're from the US and eat dinner at 6PM rather than 9PM, you'll likely be able to get an easier reservation. The food was excellent - our group shared family style so we could try more. Even though the chef's appetizers, peppers, breads and spreads they bring... More

Overall the experience was one that was par for the course. The food was average nothing overly memorable, although it was nice to experience some Brazilian style food in a more business like setting. The wait staff was ok, they didn't follow up very much with the table and it did take a long time to actually receive the food.... More

Chef Alex Atala opened this restaurant next door to his culinary restaurant DOM... honestly I prefer Dalva e Dito))) warmer decoration, tasty family cooking ... view on kitchen which is separated from tables by wall glass. You can see often chef Atala there who to check everything is done as he expects... cheaper than DOM but not cheap either

Do not get me wrong, they do have a nice environment (for business mainly), nice decor, very good food, great service, but the price is just too high for what the experience they offer.... I would never get back, does not worth the price!!!!

On the night that I ate at Dalva e Dito, it was a bit rainy and cold. When I stepped out of the cab in front of the restaurant, a very helpful member of the restaurant staff held an umbrella over my head as I walked to the front door. I found the service staff to be quite attentive and... More

There’s a glass wall between the dining room & the kitchen of this upscale, very pretty restaurant, which is always fun & interesting. Serving contemporary riffs on traditional Brazilian fare, we started with a divine assortment of cheeses, breads, hot peppers, condiments and a head of roasted garlic. Then had a fish “stew” with lemongrass and Brazilian herbs, delicious duck….doesn’t... More

Will go back for sure. Friendly service, a great atmosphere in a bright and open restaurant. We went with locals who made us try specialities, this certainly was a great advantage.

I'm really speechless Yes, I know this place has a famous chef and great reviews.... Trust me it didn't make my experience more pleasant Here is the punchline: -service was bad, slow and completely confused - food was not good at all. All meats were overdone - I got food poisoned a bit there, was up all night feeling horrible... More

reservation was surprisingly easy to get. service was friendly. food was hit & miss: the pumpkin soup was excellent, esp for winter nights. the corned beef was lovely but not the best, and the cassava gratin didn't fare well...too hard, like trying to chew a rock.

Staying in Jardins

Neighbourhood Profile
Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighbourhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighbourhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.
