Had dinner with my wife and was completely disappointed. It costs roughly 50% more than the average all you can eat japanese restaurant in São Paulo, but the food doesn't match the price. My nigiri seemed like it was made at lunch and stored in the fridge for dinner. One of the rolls felt like I was drinking water from... More

I've been in the beginning of June 2016. The place was fine, nice options for "rodízio". The meal was fast served. Nice staff.

The service in this restaurant is a disaster. A) it took 5 bills until we had the correct one...last one was correct and 100 Real less on a total bill of 325 ! B) The Sake I ordered was not available and another one was delivered which was apparently double price...I was not informed about this significant difference in price... More

Had lunch here today. I'm kind of a Ramen snob after living in Japan for 15 years, but wanted to find a restaurant that served Ramen near where I live, versus going all the way out to Liberdade. I searched about 8 Japanese restaurants in the area, and Koban was the only one providing Ramen (Lamen). I was nicely greeted... More

First day in São Paulo and I had to go to a nice "Rodizio de Sushi". The food was good and enough quantity. The waiters were very nice and helpful. We arrived 20 minutes before they finished lunch, but we were never pressured to leave. Yes, the restaurant needs refurbishment but it is a good choice for a good price.

Koban has great sushi, you can taste the freshness and quality of their fish, and it tastes great. Do not go there unless you are a true sushi fan, and a hungry one! Service could be a little nicer, servers just want to get the ordering process done as fast as possible without much explanations or help.

Good sushi, cool atmosphere and a great all you can eat option for $R60. My friend and I both took that option. The manager made sure we understood everything as neither of us speak Portuguese. I will definitely go back.

Design: The design of the restaurant is like a flash back into the 70's. As I travel to Germany extensively it brought back this type of neo German modern look. Quite pleasing and nice overall. I would label this restaurant in Brazilian terms to be consider a Sushi churrascaria. They have a la carte menu items, but your best bet... More

They have this eat as much as you can deal that costs about 20 dollars for lunch and 25 for dinner that is great. They bring you a variety of stuff, hot and cold and you can order an extra serving of anything you like. The drinks are pricey so do not go there intending to drink plenty of alcohol.... More
