I've been to Sujinho since I was a kid, and the barbecue is ALWAYS perfect. The décor is simple, the meal is all about the food and ice cold beer. They have air conditioning. Run away from the picanha, you'll have a cheaper, bigger and better one in a churrascaria. But the T-bone steak (bisteca) is large and juicy -... More

Sujinho is an Iconic place in Sao Paulo. I have been there several times and food is usually good, mainly grilled meats. Unfortunately this time, my meat, the traditional T-Bone, was not cooked as I ordered and was very hard. Howvere I will give them another chance.

This place is a Sao Paulo establishment. Traditionally open until the wee hours of the morning, it is a favorite of journalists and streetwalkers alike. The decor is simple and the atmosphere working class. The food is very yummy, expertly made, and the portions are just huge. The menu has English alongside the Portuguese.

Nice place, good atmosphere, cleaning, cheap, and very good location. no Parking , no wifi. Good food, bigest plates. Nice pub's around and good market's place. Very close to Central Market. :)

I've been several times to the restaurants and although the t-bone is the star, i really enjoy the side dishes that you can order to eat with the steaks. Go with rice with broccoli, onions and banana.

I went there with some friends. The food was good, but far from perfect. The meat was cut in little strips that cooled almos instantly, for exemple. Certainly not worth the cost (something between USD30 and USD40 per px)

Well, I used to go there around 25 years ago when I was still in Sao Paulo. I used to go with my friends, late at night. Was one of our favorites. I'm glad it is still going on strong!

As for the traditional Bi-Steak is delicious, the plate works for 2 easily. The price is fair. The place and the service are good.

Always open until very late, this restaurant offer a very good steak for a very good price. Try the "maminha especial" or the "bisteca"(t bone steak). On Saturdays and Sundays try the "feijoada" but espect to find a 30 minute line.

The location is great but the cost-benefit is weak - some of the most expensive steak in Brazil and not all that good - side orders seemed to have been ready, and just heated and served. The codfish (bacalhau) looked great but was raw in the middle.

Neighbourhood Profile
Consolação lies between the old historical centre of the city and busy Paulista Avenue. It’s surrounded by the fancy Higienópolis neighbourhood, which makes it a very diverse place. The nightlife along Augusta Street offers visitors a variety of options to dine, dance and be entertained. Roosevelt Square, Consolação's main meeting point, is surrounded by fringe theaters and has become a popular skateboarding area. Right across the street from the square is the elevated highway known as “Minhocão.” Though it is busy with car traffic all week, it shuts down every weekend and becomes a leisure spot right in the middle of the city.
