São Paulo has been flooded with bistros of all levels, some conveniently renamed to surf the wave. While Chef Rouge calls itself a bistrot gourmand, it is really a step above them. We recently had dinner there and the dishes we ordered impressed us; few places in São Paulo serve food this good. While they offer a four-course tasting menu,... More

Chef Rouge is a traditional French bistro in São Paulo, which had several different chefs so far and is now under the command of the French chef Christophe Deparday. In addition to the dishes traditionally found in French bistros (such as steak tartare, steak au poivre, canard à l'orange) there is the option of a Menu à 4 temps (tasting... More

São Paulo is known for the variety of restaurants and for those who are in the city and want to experience French cuisine, this is one of the best places to go. The menu has something for everyone and from the interior design to the presentation of the food, everything is flawless. Although the staff is mostly friendly and helpful,... More

The place is really nice with some details that makes it look like a brasserie. We were welcomed by a charming lady with a smile that I still remember today. The service was good to. For an unknown reason the food was not so good. That is the reason I suspect that the chef was not around. It was lunch... More

The meal was excellent, the atmosphere was really classy and the service was good. There were many waiters for a little number of tables. The waiters were not very friendly, but did their job very well. In the end the waiters bring desserts personally so you can choose! I recommend this restaurant !

I work very close to the Shopping Center and always when I want a special place for lunch, either for business or with friends, this is my choice. Great french food and big attention to presentation and details, also calm, so you can have a good conversation inside. You start eating with your eyes. They have a special Express Menu... More

When Brazilians think about going to São Paulo, they immediately think about food! São Paulo is famous for the excellency of its restaurants and "Chef Rouge Restaurant" is an outstanding address of French cuisine at Brazil's most cosmopolitan city. Five star cuisine, extensive wine list, attentive and friendly service, complemented by red painted walls and chic décor! Last month we... More

Ok, I didn't drink a French wine (it was a delicious Chilean one), but rest was absolutely a very good French menu. Go there for business or with the family. Try les moules.

We went with another couple from Sao Paulo and we booked a table 8pm. When we arrived our table was ready. The champagne was perfect and the wine was cold enough. The food was excellent. It was one of the best onion soup I've ever had. I loved the enviroment. Real French. The desserts was awesome.

Neighbourhood Profile
Jardins
Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighbourhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighbourhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.
