The view is stunning. I've been here when s child and forgot about the experience. The food is ok more on the expense side for Brazil. Ask to be seated on the upper floor by the glass window. 360 degrees view of São Paulo

A bit pricey, but the view is worth it. Service was ok but server seemed disappointed we didn't order more than a salad (we were pressed for time) and we were not served promptly. Food was good and nicely served

Evening with clear sky at the american bar is an experience. Just go, ask for a signature cocktail and enjoy the view. Perfect for small celebrations with your other half.

Amazing view over the city. Cocktails are good and prepared at the spot. A little expensive, but the view makes up for that.

Acknowledged to have the best view of Sao Paulo, this is also an excellent Italian restaurant with superb service. Chef Pasqual is from Italy, and his brasilian wife Elizabeth is the Sous Chef. All of the ingredients, with the exception of the fruits, vegetables, and proteins come from Italy. Last year he cooked for the Pope when he visited Brasil.... More

The whole appeal of the place is the view which is amazing. Recommend going at sunset to get really great views of the entire city. The food was good and desserts were awesome; just pack your patience because you will spend 4 hours having dinner. Though they have an excellent piano player, 4 hours is too long for this New... This place could be magic because of the view and environment. Unfortunately, the service is extremelly bad as well as the food and that ruin it all!!! I don't understand how the owner don't put any order in his team. An excellent Chef should be hired and the whole team of waiters and managers should be changed on the spot.... More

The food at the restaurant it is OK but it is well know due the fact that remain at the top of the building in downtown area from where you can have near 360 view of the city.

I visited the Terraço Itália with my wife and some of our family. We went there to celebrate a wedding of our cousin. We had sat in the piano bar area for many hours enjoying the live music and several drinks. They have an excellent bar staff there and they can make you almost anything you'd like to drink. My... The place is very nice, great view over the city of São Paulo, beautiful sightseeing. Also the staff is very polite and gentle. The food is good, however this restaurant is a bit more expensive than the others... But is worth it!

Staying in Republica

Neighbourhood Profile
Part of the historical centre of São Paulo, República was once a fancy residential area. República Square holds a craft and food fair every weekend, right by the subway entrance. Nearby, one of the neighbourhood’s main attractions is the Italian Building, where you can see the city from the 42nd floor. The Copan Building also deserves a close look, with 1,160 apartments and a huge floor area that inspired filmmakers and other artists. To get the feeling of São Paulo in the beginning of the 1900s, visit the Municipal Theatre – you will be amazed by its architecture. The area also features several galleries. República is a great area to explore during daytime, but use caution if visiting alone at night.
