Very good service, nice and varied brazilian cuisine for both lunch and dinner, very good chopp, good location. Gávea is an expensive neighbourhood, as all Rio's south zone, so prices here are a little high, but not too much.

I have been there with my friends and did not regret. They loved the picanha and chicken barbecue and I, as a pesketarian, had a huge congro fillet with shrimp sauce. The portions are huge and the atmosphere is very friendly. It is a place the cariocas go to on a regular basis. Don't miss it!

We spent an evening here. Very relaxing with nice sunset views. Got to see the horses close up and talk with the jockeys too.

Sorriso is the name of the guy who served our table. Amazing guy! We ordered picanha, farofa, arroz maluco e batatas portuguesas. Nothing was really special, but not too bad either!

We came upon this restaurant as we headed back to our apartment after a visit to the Botanical Gardens. It was very busy as it was Sunday afternoon and Father's Day to boot. However, the service was still good and attentive. We enjoyed the Sunday special, a combination of mixed roasted vegetables and meat. The meal is meant to serve... More

We were 6 and we ordered chicken, batatas fritas, rice and a meat ensemble. Chicken, rice and batatas came quite fast but we had to wait for the meat meal. Other people finished their dishes and we were still waiting, starting to starve. We asked the waiter what is happening and we wore told "it's being defrosted" What ? We... More

This place is always at hand for a beer and some typical local food, grill, soups, sanwiches and eggs. I have been several times for late lanch and after midnight dinner and always found the kitchen available and ery professional waiters. The crowds in the square nearby can be impressive, mostly young and beautiful from the wealthy neighbouroods. Would suggest... More

This is a restaurant for people who like exclusive dinners. But it does not fulfill the exclusiveness… Food is good but expensive, service is a kind of disaster. Nice views but isolated.

We visited this place after a few hours at the botanic garden, it's only 5 minutes walk away. We were hungry and the place was full with locals enjoying different cuts of meat, so we gave it a go and we were not disappointed. The staff did not speak very good english but they were very helpful and pleasant. Most... More

As a restaurant, it's nothing impressive, but is situated in Baixo Gavea, a place of gathering in Rio, and that makes all the difference. Take a table in the balcony and order a draft beer (chope) or a caipirinha. The place gets crowded especialy on Thursdays.
