The restaurant is located in the heart of Ipanema neighborhood. It is cozy, few places. The terrace is a great spot although we got a table inside. Staff is very attentive and food is awesome. We had a couple of different drinks, all of them...More

I understand that Ipanema area is expensive overall- but I ordered a curry, one drink, and still water and it was like 40 usd. I like the atmosphere and all, but kinda too expensive.

Had a lovely dinner for two here when staying in Ipanema. Zaza is sophisticated with a nice quirky interior. We sat on the terrace. We both had very different types of dishes and both were excellent. You pay for the quality though - not a...More

Good grilled fish main, and calamares main. Peach dessert was fine too. Tables (inside) are very close together, but we are not fluent in Portuguese- so were not too distracted. Service not too sharp, but maitre d was quite affable. 400+ for 2.

Skip Garota de Ipanema down the street and head straight to Zaza. The food and drinks are delicious, small setting, quirky and beautiful spot. Make reservations online, or stop by at 7 pm when they open to grab a table.

I've been there with my siblings and we fell in love with the place. First of all the staff is lovely and the ambience very cool. We were seated on the first floor (very romantic with seatings on the floor and cosy ambience). I don't...More
