Asked them to put the football on. They asked what match and disappeared for 15 minutes without changing the channel. The bar across the street is more accommodating and put the match on straight away.

It's a small, yet comfortable place. American football, anyone? It's all over. And, as a connoisseur of Mexican food, this restaurant actually impressed me, compared to most Brazilian attempts.

I loved that this place was a little different then all the other restaurants in Ipanema. No frills. Staff very nice. Only let down was the high price for the small quantity of food. Had to order 2 entrees to feel a little full since the tacos are so thin and they only give about 10 chips on the side... More

Great food - pretty authentic, good prices and fantastic caipirinhas! A lot of the food I ate in Rio was average - this was a welcome treat.

Some friends and I were in Rio for the Olympics. We found this place and loved it! The agave nachos were a welcome change from the food we had been eating every day. They have another location in Copacabana too, both are great. The staff was so friendly and accommodating! A big thanks you to Felipe at the Copa location... More

This very small bar has an amazing selection of drinks and a good menu if you're craving Mexican. Great place to watch football / soccer just one block or so from the beach.

The decor and atmosphere are lovely. The beer menu is very good and all mexican! The food was pretty standard. Norwich has been crying out for a half decent mexican for a while and that's what this is. It doesn't rock the boat but it's yummy. Portion sizes aren't huge and the prices are a bit high on that basis.... More

Always a bash during the weekends this place offers a good variety of drinks, especially the famous Mexican margaritas, but also ice cold Heineken tap beer. The staff, formed by guapas (cute) waitresses, is very kind and helpful, something difficult to find in Rio. Not a coincidence they are almost all from other countries, mostly from Latin America. The place... More

Came here with a Rio dwelling friend who frequents it as one of the few places in Rio that is English speaking. The bar even has American sport and a English comedy night with Brazilians and tourists alike. That all said, the highlights on the menu have to be the Nachos - a literal mound for very little money. Great... More

The bartender and gorgeous waitresses were friendly. While the customers were mostly Brazilians there were several English-speaking customers of all ages. The bartender was American. The Tex-Mex food was decent for the price but there are better Mexican food places in Rio. The drinks were generous. The main negative was that there were customers smoking just outside the restaurant and... More
