Based on the trip advisor comments we visited with friends for lunch. Staff helpful and friendly but meal we felt was average. Some of the party had no vegetables with main course, I had the pasta with squid, but there was not much squid in the dish. Meal was constantly interrupted by people trying to sell us tea towels and... More

It is highly expensive for the quality of both drinks and appetizers. Too pretentious, indeed, with more of a décor than "content".

The wine selection is OK but only that. I had the bruchettes and a carpaccio - both very good and they're the reason I gave the "very good" rating. Service is adequate but is not worth the 12% tip they charge on top of the bill. I'd go back, but there are better places to dine in Dias Ferreira.

Place is nice, food is well coked and very good. Wines have international price, list is not very big and you have to choose from an iPad app...

We headed there for a saturday night dinner. It was raining hard so I guess that explains why most of the restaurants on that street weren't packed. The wine list is not good at all, overpriced and disappointing for a place that carries such a name. But the wine was served in a perfect temperature. Guess because they have wine... More

The Bottega del Vino, in the Leblon neighbourhood (rua Dias Ferreira, 78), is a mix of bar, restaurant and wine shop. Of course, the options of wine are interesting and the prices are fair (considering the location, Leblon). I think that, although there are some choices if you want to dine, the best option is pairing the wine with the... More

We stumbled across this place after being told the wait at Sushi Leblon was an hour and a half. It was difficult to find a table since we had a group of 7 people and it was 9:00pm. Bottega del Vino was able to accommodate us right away. We started with a few different appetizers, steak tartar, polenta Gorgonzola, Greek... More

Excellent place in Dias Ferreira. All the food choices were really good: beef carpaccio, bruschette, polpo. Nice street, outdoor terrace and indoor seating with good service. What also marks it out is one of the only Enomatic wine dispensers in Rio where you can get a range of good wines by the glass.

Neighbourhood Profile
In addition to being one of the most upscale neighbourhoods in the city, Leblon is charming, elegant and simple. This posh area has some of the most famous and expensive restaurants in Brazil, along with some of the city’s best nightlife (including some places open all night). One of the best places to visit is the beach, located under the impressive “Morro Dois Irmãos” (Two Brothers Hill). It’s a pleasant place to relax and admire the local beauty.
