This place is great! I had a "pernil + abacaxi + queijo prato" sandwich (pork leg? + pineapple + prato cheese). It was delicious, the sandwich was big and the price decent (R$25), it was so good I ordered another one to go! I had a "pastel de Belem" for dessert, it was tasty but I don't recommend ordering it... More

Had the filet mignon sandwich with cheese and pineapple. Loved it so much I got a second one for later. Will definitely be back!

I love this place because it reminds me of my father and grandfather. The waiters are the old style Brazilian waiters who do not speak and treat you with the most reverence. The chairs are uncomfortable the food is good but the feel is very retro. I love it.

I have been there a number of times after it was opened, and my first evaluation was that it was not nearly as good as the one in Copacabana, the master franchise. Today, I was back just for a beer with a friend, because it was underway. It cannot get further down as compared to the original one. Only industrialized... More

Stopped by a number of times during Olympics for chopp (300 ml) of cold lager plus a filet steak sandwich on the rare side, served with sweet pineapple. Delicious, relatively inexpensive, friendly place. Watched tv on their patio, including Brazil's gold medal football victory over Germany. Older waiters in white jackets and black bow ties. Local flavor. Walk from Alvorada... More

It is ok, but never not even close to the original one in Copacabana. However, if you are stuck in a traffic jam, it is much better than being stuck in a restaurant inside a shopping center.

This restaurant serves traditional portuguese(not Brazilian) food. The place is not that fancy but the food is fantastic, tasty and traditional.

I visited Cervantes last week and ordered the Cervantes Especial Sanduiche: An extremely generous pile of medium well steak with a 3/4 inch slice of pineapple. Yes, that's correct. A very thick slice of pineapple with steak between two slices of bread. The steak was delicious, however, extremely tough. Too tough for me to enjoy. A friend had the ham... More

Cervantes serve great meals, they serve quickly and have a very tasty food. It's a very good place to go after the beach! Try any of their steaks and ask for the portuguese fries! It's a simple and tasty place to go!
