If you like Portuguese/Mediterranean food you can’t do wrong here. The food is very good, the service is nice. I believe they improved the wine list, comparing to my last visit. I will definitely be back.

I decide to celebrate my birthday in RJ with the family in a portuguse restaurant. What a bad decision! At least, deciding to go to Marisqueira. Last year I decide to go to ALFAIA, just a few steps away, and this year I was told...More

Thanks to Trip Advisor, we found this fabulous little restaurant a few blocks from our hotel! Overall, I don't think the other reviews did it justice; the place is very upscale with a European ambiance, charming waiters and terrific food. The restaurant was very clean...More

Nice sardines to start with than a fried Bacalhau, all very good. Service was excelente! My only "not so good" comment goes to the wine list, that looked very limited, with only wines from "Alenjeto". I would include at least some "Douro Region".

The dish for 2 was well served, and 3 adults can eat easily. I know it's out of contest but the Olive Oil was delicious. The servers were very polite and treated us well.

Wouldn't come back to that place. Only 3 visitors (include me) were in the restaurant. Was a little bit price for old fashion place.

This is the typical carioca old-school restaurant. Food is amazing, waiters have all been working there for ages and know the menu like the palm of their hands, the ambiance is cozy, big portions that easily serve more than one person... Highly recommended.

The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional
and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood
is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and
traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of
everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs,
chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and
more live side-by-side. There are options for all
price points and tastes. However, the most powerful
