Me and my friend ate dinner here after a day at the pool. Primo and main course. The risotto and the duck for two was simply amazing. Good service and attention from staff!

This was our second visit, both times when staying at the Copacabana Palace, both times for our wedding anniversary dinner. Last year we felt the restaurant was good but not great, but we gave it another go. There won't be any more goes. Location is nice, service is just fine. Food and wine are really quite pricey - starters average... More

Travelling in South America for two weeks and thought we would spoil ourselves at one of Rio's finest restaurants. Located in the Copacabana Palace is Cipriani restaurant a Sensational indulgence for the weary traveller. Not the cheapest restaurant in town by a fair margin but you will want for nothing, great service and even better food make for a memorable... More

This was our first night in Rio after a long flight so we decided to play it safe and eat here which was the fine dining option of the belmond copacabana palace where we were guests. Service was five star but the meal, while perfectly fine was nothing special. Risotto was plain, sea bass ok and an average dessert -... More

We visited the restaurant for a fine dinner and to celebrate a special occasion. The interior design of the restaurant is classic (the carpet was old fashion and not so elegant) and from the windows you have a nice view to the pool of the Hotel. There was a piano and a viola playing music but also, people were passing... More

Stayed at the hotel and had the restaurant bring us the most decedent room service ever... mouth watering and wonderful.

We visited for dinner. This restaurant is very expensive - and we were therefore disappointed to be charged a 44 Real 'cover charge' on top of the meal. That sort of unannounced extra charge has pretty much been eliminated in the UK. Wine and water are also very expensive. The food was generally well cooked, although portions are not large.... More

There were four of us for this dinner and we were given an excellent table with views of the hotel pool. The restaurant is classically decorated and in the evening there is a pianist. Staff were very attentive and explained the menu well. Some lovely starters and I recommend the Tuna steak for the main. We had wine pairings with... More

The setting at the well known Cpacabana Palace Hotel is beautiful and sets the tone for the meal. Service is excellent. The menu is mostly italian and the wine list is great.

Expensive. The food is more beautiful than really good. It's a nice experience a dinner at Copa with that pool and lights, but the service is weak (instead the number of people working) and the food just ok.

Staying in Copacabana

Neighbourhood Profile
Copacabana
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
