Brazilians eat a lot of meat so this fish restaurant is a great break. They specialize in moquecas which is fish stew from the Bahia region. It is based on a coconut broth with veggies and fish, served with rice on the side. We took the one with a local fish and shrimp: DELICIOUS. Brazilians don't use a lot of... More

It was the first time I experienced Bahaian cuisine and frankly did not liked it at all. It is basically a cheap products based cooking and that's the reasoning for scoring the restaurant that way. Tried moqueca, which even though sea food based was a thick soupy dish with rather hard to chew mussels and some squids that was the... More

We love seafood and fish and so last night we decided to go and have dinner at Tempora de Bahia. The service was excellent. The waiter was very kind and gentle. The food was tasty and the portion were big. The singer was singing great songs with a beautiful voice. We had a great dinner and went home happy and... More

Great fish and seafood restaurant. Air conditioned and with English menu. We had live music the whole night and enjoyed it.

We were welcomed by the warm and cozy Brazilian music in a red interior. We decided on the "rotation of fish" for the six of us. What a feast! All was prepared to perfection in a true Brazilian tradition. Loved it.

Don't write reviews often, but this is the place I recommend, specially if you are coming from Argentina and are looking to eat something other than meat! The restaurant offers variety of salads and other entries. The mains are seafood dishes - shrimp, crab, lobster etc. House speciality is to serve them food in coconut milk. So if you are... More

I've probably been generous with the rating because of the very good feel this restaurant has. The owner, Antonio, is honest with his advice... and than he'll play his guitar and sing for you - forever! The restaurant has one brightly painted and quirky room with some on-screen entertainment (?). We had the recommended casquinhas de siri (crab meat appetisers)... More
