My friends said their sandwiches were great. I wish I had the same experience. My soup was curdled and bland. I had a hair in my soup. Our server, probably the owner, insisted the 3/4 inch long black hair I took out of the chowder was pepper. He didn't care, otherwise he would have looked at the hair on my... More

The proprietor was super helpful in recommending a terrific lunch for each person in our party. The food came out quick and was very well prepared. The quaint atmosphere was warm and inviting on a cold winter day.

My daughter had a burger and fries that was awesome. I had lobster ravioli worth a brown butter sauce. I did not like the sauce but the lobster bites and ravioli were god. Service was also good. I will try again.

Loved the harp music, great food, good service, lovely atmosphere. I had the butternut squash ravioli and the duck wontons. The teres major my husband had was incredible. What a neat place.

The best squash meal I've had. It was the sauce---????poulet...I forgot the name of it! Everyone at my table had to taste it and agreed that it was the best meal any of us had ordered. Then there was the healing harp music!! Beautiful!! Some say that the vibrations in the strings of the harp heal various conditions. Whatever...between the... More

I've yet to have a bad meal in Ashland. The menu is nothing fancy, but the food was very good and the service was timely. It's probably "average" by Ashland standards, but frankly, compared to the meals I've had in the Twin Cities lately, it was very good! We were greeted by a harpist playing beautiful music, which seemed a... More

We had good seafood and nice service. Fairly quiet in the restaurant, which is unusual, of course. Fairly usual prices.

We walked out of this restaurant once we'd been seated for less than three minutes, because of the overwhelming smell of mold. Both my husband and I were shocked by how strong it was, and he left with an immediate headache. It's too bad, because the menu looked good, and there was live harp music that night.

My first review of this spot was pretty positive. This is not. It is purely about one product.....their crab cakes, which many in the far reaches of Northern Wi consider fabulous, including the owner of the establishment who basically ignored us after I asked if they were actually made in house. Well, to put it bluntly, for anybody who has... More

I would not go back based off of the server. She was crabby, short and just plain not nice. At all!!! Now the food was great. My burger was cooked perfect. My wife's pasta dish was awesome. It's a shame that great food get put out buy such a person. Bartender was nice. We wish she would have been or server.
