WE had lunch at this Vietnamese-cuisine restaurant and were delighted to find vegan options in abundance on the menu. Our food was delicious, the service friendly and efficient, and prices were modest. Highly recommended.

This place is the best. The crepe is made out of 100% majestic love. Eat here and then make a baby. That baby will lead the next seven generations into peace and harmony.

Basil is one of my absolute favorite spots in Appleton. The team there does a wonderful job providing excellent cuisine and service. Chicken Pad Thai and Pho are must haves!

Recently revisited this popular newish Asian restaurant. We've always had good experiences, and my wife did, again, this time. I ordered a "daily special" in order to try something new and wasn't very happy with it, though I ate it. Kind of casually mentioned my disappointment to the server, when she brought the bill. I didn't ask for any adjustment, because... More

We had an excellent lunch here. I was very pleased with the broad selection of interesting items on the menu. I had the Pad Thai with mixed vegetables and the noodles were done perfectly and it included a generous vegetable portion. It is a very nicely decorated restaurant. We did not have to wait to be seated. Service was gracious... More

Basil Cafe has an incredible menu of Thai, Cambodian, and Vietnamese dishes. The food is authentic with fresh ingredients, great sensitivity to herbs, spices, etc. They have great presentation and a sensitivity to the local tolerance of spiciness while still accommodating desires for higher heat content. Coming from the east coast I'm accustomed to fantastic Asian food and until I... More

I love Basil Café food. The flavors are so exotic and spicy and fresh and just plain delicious! The service and atmosphere are very nice. My husband and I love the fresh tofu spring eggroll with the peanut sauce. I could have just spooned up that sauce and eaten it without an eggroll, it was that good! The house wine... More

I have to admit, I was a little skeptical about going to a Thai restaurant in the Midwest -- Boy, was I wrong--this place is exceptional! The atmosphere, the friendly wait staff and the awesome food--what a pleasant surprise!! The portions are quite large, so be sure to come hungry!!

Thank Kimberly M
