It's really hard to find good food as a vegetarian in Brazil! However is place is fantastic! Loads of options, and you can really stock up on your veggies and lentils, avoiding the pizzas and pastas that seem to be the main options for veggies in Brazil!

In a carb wonderland it's difficult to find food that is nourishing and makes you feel alive. Rama is an exception. Tucked away a few blocks walk from the beach is a fantastic vego friendly restaurant. Good value for money, salads that have just been picked or cut, great dressings and toppings. Happy we went. Highly recommend for fresh food... More

Food in Bahia is terrific but much of it is heavy. Despite the tropical climate and array of vegetables, when you are a tourist in Salvador it is difficult to eat well, with lots of vegetables in your diet. The answer to this is Ramma Cozinha Natural. The hours are limited but if you find yourself in the neighbourhood at... More

My wife and I were beginners to “per kilo” eating but boy were we seduced by it here. Roma (as it is now known) is a restaurant with a lovely atmosphere serving interesting salads and vegetable dishes, pasta, rice, chicken and salmon with great teriyaki sauce. All food looks inviting and fresh and there are also gluten free options. I... More

As a "pescatarian" (I don´t eat any meat but I eat fish) this restaurant was an amazing find! There is a wide variety of salad and vegetables, as well as more filling cooked food such as lasagne, tofu dishes, rissotto and quiche. There are always a few fish dishes and sometimes a chicken one at the end of the buffet,... More

The former Ramma location in Pelourinho is now Roma. The great food and ambiance have not changed, only the name is different. Roma restaurant offers delicious organic meals by the kilo in a lovely setting. Choices include chicken and fish along with many vegetarian and gluten-free options. Did I mention the tasty salads? Fresh juices are also on the menu.... More

I love a vegetarian restaurant that also serves fish. Afterall, it's Bahia! Ramma is a "kilo" restaurant. You pay for your food by the kilo. I returned to Ramma many times because of the quality of food. The soy mini-burgers are well seasoned; the cold vegetables are fresh and varied; great choices of various soy dishes; excellent salmon. Two drawbacks:... More

Stumbled over this restaurant as they were about to close. They still let me in, allowing me to take all the food I wanted, then let me peacefully eat till I was done. For me as a fish-eating vegetarian, this was a great place! The different tastes and variety of food was worth the money. Will be back again! Loved... More

I ate here twice because it catered very well for me being vegetarian. One pays by weight at R$47 per kilo so quite reasonable giving its prime location. Food isn't labelled so do check what is and isn't vegetarian. I would highly recommend it. The only thing that was disappointing was the first day the coffee smelled amazing but when... More
