We had the fish curry and the Bolivian fish dish that also came in a banana leaf along with rice and perfectly steamed mixed vegetables. After so much bland food in South America, this was a tasty revelation. Couldn't help by visiting a second night and had the Bolivian fish dish again. Fantastic!

We have been travelling for a few months now, and this little gem recommend by our Jungle guide was absolutely delicious. We tried the fish curry in banana leaf, and the traditional dunucabi which is also cooked in banana leaf. The restaurant is owned by an awesome Australian chap, who met his wife here. Great family run restaurant not to... More

We were recommended El Nomadico by our hostel for its steak, and it didn't dissapoint. At around 50 Bolivianos, a meal here is amazing value and competes with good restaurants in any country. The menu encompasses both traditional Bolivian dishes and a few which give the comforts of home - we had the fish curry and pepper sauce steak. We... More

Delicious fish curry with mashed potato - one of the best meals we've had in Bolivia! Decent prices (130 bolivianos for two large mains and two drinks) and huge portions. Great staff. Would highly recommend!

We ate at El Nomadico several times during our stay in Rurrenabaque and were never disappointed. The menu isn't huge but we still struggled to decide what to order as everything sounds great. Every meal we had was delicious! The fish curry is a must for anyone that walks in the door. Prices are great for the quality of food... More

We've eaten at Paul's place three times now and each meal has been excellent. The fresh juices are not to be overlooked and the cocktails are great but the absolute stand-out are the fish dishes in banana leaf. I never ever would have guessed the humble catfish could be elevated to that level of cuisine. We came on the weekend... More

Arrived in Rurrenabaque 1 night prior to our jungle trek, decided here for dinner based on reviews. I can easily back it up!!! Beer was frosty cold and the fish in banana leaf was melting in my mouth. Do yourself a favour a check it out!

Amazing food, especially their fish dishes which they cook in a banana leaf! We went twice, once before our pampas trip and again after as a treat 😌
