We enjoyed a lunch that gave my dear elderly friend not only of gift of delicious food but memories taking her back to Paris and French courtyside. Salad, quiche, soup and of course the French Bread.. Service was good, and the personal touch over the years - consistent.

My wife and I usually do not go out to nice restaurants for lunch, but we joined some friends for a pre Christmas lunch this week. LaCote d Or was the place we chose. We've been there before for dinner and was expecting the same excellent experience. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent as usual and the service... More

Went here with a family of four for dinner and the food was quite poor. The only decent item was the fois gras, which is probably not made in house. For appetizers, we also ordered the pate, which was tasteless and the frog legs were chewy. For entrees, we ordered the bouillabaisse, beef Bourguignon, pepper steak and steak & fries.... More

Dining at La Cote D'Or with friends on a recent Friday evening was a a wonderful experience!!! We were promptly greeted at the door & escorted to our table by a waiter with a big smile. The attention to detail was outstanding. The restaurant has character, warmth and charm that diners typically don't experience in many other area restaurants. We... More

First time visit and I will definitely return. The food and service was superb and server Manuel was outstanding. I noticed the location in Falls Church French Café La Cote D'or (6876 Lee Hwy, Arlington, VA 22213) is the same location as Westmoreland St.. The place was neat and clean with upscale service. Everything is close corners but comfortable in... More

Been here many times over the years - my second favorite french bistro. It is still very good but may have slipped just a little because of expanded business from the many hi-rise condos around it. Nevertheless still well worth a visit however!

The food and service is excellent. The food is prepared fresh daily. The menu is simple. You cannot go wrong with the 3 course meal. Be sure to order ahead of time.

The three-course fixed price meal is served from 5 PM to 6:30 PM. Orders must be placed by 6:30 PM. Essentially, it is a two-course meal (appetizer and main course) at full price with a free dessert. The bread basket had a wonderful crusty bread. We had the marinated asparagus and the avocado salad -- both well done. We each... More

Lot's of menu choices covering price range from moderate to expensive. Has a good variety of price-fixe dinners before 6:30PM (you MUST order before 6:30). Price-fixe includes some items off the main menu, as well as some that are unique.Has a small parking lot and nearby garage. Excellent service, excellent food. We had a party of 7 on this visit...
