Clyde's is McConnell a place that my husband and I go to regularly, when we want a more upscale dinner without having to pay outrageous prices. Everything about Clyde's is outstanding. From the decor comma the seating, the menu and the wait staff. I've never had a bad meal here or bad service and the prices are very reasonable. I've... More

Always a favourite whether for a full sit-down meal, brunch menu or a visit to the wonderful island bar. Professional and cordial staff and quality food. Always a nice atmosphere.

We came here with a group. The restaurant was very busy and not surprisingly the service was slow. The food was not up to par either. My burger was barely edible and others expressed similar sentiments about the food. We can forgive this because usually Clyde's is very reliable. However, if we have too many of these experiences we will... More

If Jasmine is working, you definitely want her as your server. Exceptional knowledge of the menu and very personable and attentive. Order the duck with pomegranate reduction if it is offered on the menu - it was amazing.

Chicken and waffle was great. No bones and the sausage gravy was excellent. Plus free parking. Service was very nice and the food came out very hot.

Staff very professional but I was not impressed with the menu so ordered a burger. It was a good burger but I was disappointed that this was all I could find on the menu that looked good to me. My recommendation is to update the menu selection.

The Chesapeake decor with hunting and fishing themed dining rooms are terrific. Lots of detail, local art and memorabilia give the place great character. The bread served at the table is delicious. Burger was excellent, wedge salad also very good. The chili was a hit but my Caesar salad was oddly small, almost not worth serving. We ate late, after... More

This particular Clyde's is one of several in the Washington D.C. area. Each of them has their own decor. This one is in an America's Cup Yacht decor. My wife and I like to go here during the Christmas season, although we have been to several of the others. Our server today was a delightful young lady named Julia. She... More

Clyde's is one of my favorite restaurants. The décor is very interesting and it has several theme rooms! The food is always delicious and the staff most accommodating. A great place for family and friends.

Opened in 1998 in the West End of historic Alexandria, Virginia, Clyde's at Mark Center is a vivid celebration of sporting life on the water. Thirty-five years after Clyde's opened in Georgetown, this property showcases our evolution from restaurants to full-scale atmospheres. From an Adirondack fishing camp to a Chesapeake Bay hunt club, each room memorializes the beauty and adventure found on the water. When you can't visit Nantucket in person, Mark Center is gloriously outfitted with antique model sailboats, a replica Potomac boathouse and a cozy beach shack and bait shop that's ready to welcome any sea dog.
