Since moving to Alexandria, I've been stopping at local places for either breakfast or lunch. Some places in Del Ray are insufferably chic while others like Caboose Cafe are just basic good food with a comfortable table and chairs either inside or out.

I've been here twice. Cute environs. Friendly staff. Both times they've been out of main entree items. This time after I paid, they told me they were out of kebabs and tried to talk me into salad instead. Double check before ordering.
