We happened upon Lamberts one day for lunch. The 4 of us from different cities were promptly seated around 11:45 at a nice table. The smell of smoke and food was in the air. I split the wild boar ribs with my partner, the sauce...More

2-3 star rating. Our main courses (brisket and pulled pork) were good but, unfortunately, nothing else was. The main course comes with a small ramekin of pickled vegetables that were very salty. The appetizer (shrimp and crab campechana) was too spicy and the buffalo cauliflower...More

Nice restaurant in Downtown Austin. The brisket was very good as were the brussel sprouts. Nice to be able to get a reservation and be served. Can be a little noisy with music upstairs.

We had chicken, brisket and pulled pork and a couple of sides and that was enough for the 4 of us. The food was well worth the 30 minute wait for our table - friendly and helpful staff and a handy location for downtown. Reasonable...More

We had lunch here recently. We both had the brisket, served cold and over 50% fat. Only reason we came was because we could make online reservations.

Disappointed in the barbecue here. Ribs needed more time on the pit. They were greasy. Beans were blah. My husbands’s beer was warm. The only standout was the fried okra with spicy remoulade sauce. Banana pudding had good flavor but was thin. Maybe it was...More

We met our granddaughter who lives and works in Austin here at Lamberts based on a friend's recommendation. There's a nice small bar and two floors of dining in an historic building on 2nd Street. The brisket and pork ribs are outstanding and we are...More

We met friends at Lambert’s for brunch. This required finding a parking lot a couple of blocks away as street parking is extremely limited in downtown Austin. We had a choice of downstairs or up. Upstairs had live music. We could hear it downstairs just...More

Like Ray5000, I didn't see any, but that doesn't mean there aren't any. I don't go to restaurants to watch TV. Call Lambert's and ask them.
