One of the best places in Austin! Came in accidentally, but it was so good that we decided to rate it, what we don't do usually. Worth trying!

I had the chicken enchiladas w/mole sauce and Charro beans. The mole was very good, but the Charro beans were just o.k. My husband had the Alambres de Res (skewered beef) which he enjoyed. The Margaritas are very good, too, not sweet like a lot...More
Dinner on Saturday Jan 28th. Ordered creme of corn soup - used to be wonderful, but all 4 orders arrived lukewarm. Waitress was super nice and got them warmed up. Food came next. Corn tortillas homemade, excellent! Enchiladas came with long hair in it. Showed...More
Original menu includes Mayan/Yucatan dishes, not the usual gringo faux fajitas with bell peppers and from the gallon can pureed pintos common in so many places. Chile rellenos stuffed with rice and meat, not Veveeta, etc. Puerco in chili cascabel, tacos al pastor, pescado tikin...More
Good variety of dishes in the menu. My chili rellenos were great. We had a good variety of good on the table and all dishes were fully eaten. Excellent service that was prompt and friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating. Good salsa.

I took a client into Sazon about a month ago, spending over $200 there. As I was squeezing by the narrow space between the bar and the wall, my shirt snagged on the wall texturing and ripped. Margarito, the owner offered to have the shirt...More
We had a great dinner at Sazon recently, sitting outside by Lamar (traffic was a bit loud). The decor is pretty bare-bones, but the service was excellent - attentive without being intrusive. We had delicious starters, a creamy corn soup and the bean sopecitos, followed...More
