The ramen was the highlight for us. The miso soup was also tasty. The shrimp plate was tasty but a few more tempura vegetables would have made it fantastic. The only bad thing was the cleanliness the tables were dirty and there wasn't anyone cleaning up.

Read great reviews about Banzai and stopped for some sushi. I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the prices are. Tasted their popular ramen bowl and a sushi plate. Although I've only had ramen once before I can confidently say this was the best ramen I've ever had and will. Be surprised to find better. The sushi held its own... More

Visited Banzai with family. One orders food on arrival, from an extensive menu, and it is brought to you at the table. My wife and I had the day special which was red curry, chicken for my wife and tofu for me. It came with a drink and miso soup as a starter. We also had a serving of edamame... More

First time going out for ramen noodles! This place was so delicious and so cheap. I got boba tea and ramen noodle soup. Yummy!

Upon entering Bonzai, I was not impressed by the ambiance of the restaurant. The food is overpriced for its quality. The approximately $10 Beef Yakisoba was not worth it. There was very little beef on the plate and the dish felt almost like an appetizer. Additionally, they only provide plastic cups. It felt like a fast food restaurant. But, on... More

Banzai offers good sushi at fair prices. We enjoyed four different rolls and edamame beans. Everythings was delicious and especially the shrimp tempura roll was outstanding. Totally recommendable. We had take out food so I can't say anything about the atmosphere or the service.

I have been going to Banzai for the last 10 years. I really like Banzai for many reasons. Here are some of the reasons: 1. Great lunch specials that are cheap and delicious 2. Yummy noodles including the spicy ramen and tempura sobaB 3. Location is second to none across from the Central Market 4. Chilled atmosphere and the Spanish... More

This has been a great sushi dining option for our family for years. Consistently good, fresh and fast. The owners are very sweet and the staff makes you feel welcome. Conveniently located across the street from Central Market on 38th. Go, you will make it one of your go-to's as well.

We've been here about 8 times at least. Love the bubble teas, I like them made with almond milk. You order at the counter and then staff bring you your food, drinks, water, cutlery etc. I love the sushi here, with vegetarian rolls costing just $3.99. We also love the hot edamame to eat as we wait on our main... More

This is my favorite sushi spot in Austin. They have some really interesting vegetarian options that I've never seen anywhere else- jalapeno tempura and AC Maki are the best, plus really tasty traditional sushi rolls. It's very casual and inexpensive with great lunch and dinner specials that come with miso soup and iced green tea. You order at the counter... More
