With the closure of Satay on Anderson Lane (and the bad menu experiences at Thai Passion on 183), this has become our favorite place for Thai food. Parking is always easy, food is fresh, and staff is friendly. It's a little distance to go from NW Austin, but worth the drive.

A salad bar included with a Thai entre, with choice of two soups. I had the cashew chicken, but it was unusually flavored; perhaps curry was in the seasoning. There was a very popular sushi bar, spring roll bar, but I could not figure out if there was a extra or it was included with my meal The view is... More

My fiancée heard about this place when they brought lunch to her office, so we had to try them out. Thai Spice has only been at this new location a few weeks (as they were formerly downtown), so that explained why the place was so empty during dinner time on a Saturday evening. As time goes on, more patrons will... More

My elderly mother and I went at 2 pm on a Friday and were delighted that the appetizer bar was still open. It has salad, soup, spring rolls, sushi and dessert. All fresh and flavorful. It's $8 all you desire and it comes with an entree. My special green curry was only $12. I was saddened to read other less... More

I love the appetizer bar. the almost-sushi is good, the fried bananas and spring rools are a meal in itself. I wish the sushi was more sushi like and less veggie. The soups are great. The pad thai noodles are some of the best I have had. Never a disappointment here and the price is great. A good local neighborhood... More

If the place were better decorated and better designed/layout, it would get a much better score! The interior is just plain dull/drab. It is a shame because the food is excellent. We go over here a few times a year to have a good Thai meal at a great price--this is a value place for the food.... The food is... More

Its not a very classy restaurant but big room to accomdate a lot. The Basil thai fried rice was packed with all the authentic flavours. It was yummy. Portions are bit smaller compared to others. Service is very good that they make you feel very welcomed.

This restaurant has NOT turned Thai food into a blan Amercian version of Thai. They used good spices to make the food similar to the food that I have had in Bangkok. I recommend the Cashew Chicken and the Mango & Rice desert. Both are excellent. If you do not want spicy Thai food, then do not order any of... More

I have never felt so unwelcomed in all of my life. I walked into this restaurant past lunch when it was not busy at all. Multiple staff walked past me as I waited to be seated. After finally being seated without a hi or no eye contact I waited 15 min to be served or asked if I wanted a... More

Spicy dishes are overpowering. Overall, food is fresh, athmosphere is good. I was there on a Sunday for brunch. Not the best.
