Their mole really is superb. The best I've tasted outside of Mexico City. Service is great, just don't order fancy mixed drinks. I asked for a Moscow Mule and they siad they couldn't make one. The margaritas were quite good- and they went better with my food anyway. Highly recommended.

One of the best Mexican meals we had during our wide-ranging Texas tour, and that is saying a lot. The mole dish was a particular favorite.

Solid all the way around. Spicier than average Salsa. Great magarita and cocktail. Little light on my fish for my tacos. Not overly expensive, but certainly not cheap. Ceviche was excellent.

After having pre-dinner drinks at The Roosevelt Room we walked to Manuel's for dinner. Our group started with Ceviche and guacamole for the table. Both were incredible. Our server was very helpful and gave suggestions. Everything we ordered for dinner was very fresh and delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Another long time Austin stop that delivered. The cocktails, guacamole Pollo in Mole con Queso were great starts and all the entrees were really good. We had a nice selection of entrees, including steak fajitas, chicken tacos, enchiladas and quesadillas. All were solid and worth a try.

On our first night into Austin, we decided to try Manuel's based upon the reviews here at TA. Both couple like Mexican food and wanted a taste of something a bit more authentic than what we could find back home in Canada. Around 6pm on a Thursday night, we were quickly seated by the friendly staff and our drink orders... More

This isn't your run of the mill Queso so don't expect processed cheese! This is a creamy, delicious, wonderfully melted delight served with hot corn or flour tortillas. You have to spoon the cheese into those hot tortillas which is a lot of fun due to the long strands of melted cheese. The flautas at Manuel's are not like any... More

It is striving to be a high-end place but the food is just ok at best. I should have listened to the other reviewers. It was just disappointing. The food tasted so unremarkable, it felt like being at a chain Mexican restaurant. If you are like me, you were probably googling high end Mexican restaurants downtown. I wasn't able to... More
