Usually you can count on La Madeleine for consistent quality, but not this morning. The crepe was served like a bowl of mixed up egg breakfast scramble. The scrambled eggs were toasted or toasty. The poached eggs for the Benedict were hard. The server looked like she has a permanent frown on. Just must not have been their day.

I love the breakfast there but the desserts are outrageously good!!!!! Get there early if you are going on a Sunday but still worth the wait!!!

We stopped by this store for coffee & dessert because one of my friend recommended it. But I shouldn't honestly have gone there yesterday. The African-American woman cashier on 31. Dec was so unfriendly & we were a little bit disappointed in her. So we decided not to eat there and bought just a loaf of bread.

I stopped here for a quick lunch. They had a special trio where you get soup, salad and quiche. The soup was cream of mushroom and was awesome. The salad and quiche were also very tasty. They offer bread, etc. on the side if you want some of that. I would really like to go there again in the future.

Food was very good. First time visit and they were very rushed for lunch hour but got thru line very quick. I will return when in Austin.

If you are looking for something other than barbeque and usual American cuisine this is worth a visit - nothing exceptional but simple and a good change. The soups are hearty - try the cream of mushroom soup with a flaky croissant. Another favourite is the chicken pesto pasta. If you are there only to have their desserts, then take... More

One day, La Madeleine's food can be excellently prepared, but two days later, the food can be poor. I usually have the French Country breakfast, with the eggs over-medium. In the past, the cook's definition of over-medium met my own: firm whites with a runny yolk. Now, apparently, over-medium means over-cooked whites with a solid yolk. Maybe I'll ask for... More

We have always liked La Madeleine for a good lunch place to meet colleagues, etc. The menu is extensive, but most dishes include a lot of cream, which I can't ingest due to a lactose intolerance. So I am more limited in my choices. C'est la vie!

We visited this place after two may be new management. The menu seems to have changed with smaller limited menu choices. My husband and I went on Saturday night for dinner around 7:30. The place was practically empty. My half roasted chicken was very dry like it has been sitting all day. My husband's mixed paella was ok but not... More

We go occasionally. Lots of good local breakfast spots to choose so we do not get there on a regular basis.
