Went to see God is an Astronaut here. It's a historical building like many on 6th street: narrow and long. SIte says capacity is 450, but wow, I think if there were 450 in there, it would crowded. There are bench like seats lining the walls for us old folks that like to sit. Good bar, and great sound. I... More

This is a fun place, reasonably priced. Upstairs is the special events venue, I went to see "Heart Byrne", a band that does great 'Talking Heads' covers and some original stuff too. The venue is great, parking is a problem, but there is a parking garage just a few blocks up on Trinity and it's $10, not bad for Austin.... More

We went to a special event at the Parrish. It is a great venue for a special event. The space was good. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but they served great appetizers. The location is along 6th street which is the nightspot to be in Austin. Staff was courteous and hard working. Only criticism of the party space is... More

Arrived in town after a long day traveling. Great drinks -tried margarita and dark local beer. Tacos had a wonderful grilled/smokey flavor. Mushroom swiss burger was also very well done.

Great place to see live music, very spacey, not many seats though so prepare to stand up all night. Show started an hour late.

Went to a vendor (Karaoke) event upstairs and ended up downstairs with the live music. Probably the oldest bar I've ever seen. Staff works their tails off to serve you. Good drinks. Great music. Stayed for hours. It was fun! Would go back.
