One of the employees, Sarah , at the Hampton Inn suggested we try the bbq at a German pub. So we did. The brisket, pulled pork, and chopped beef were very good. Tender, juicy and well seasoned - we were not disappointed. The apple strudel...More

Scholz Garten is a game day tradition for many Longhorns like myself but it's a great spot to stop and have a cold beer no matter what time of year!

After finishing business at UT and needing lunch on my walk back to hotel, I noticed this place pop up on Google map. Surprised to step into German restaurant and the bbq smoke smell was overwhelming in a negative way. Told they had coke products,...More

We had the giant pretzels and triple-wurst sausage platter. Way more meat than we could eat! Was with parents and young children and everyone had a blast. Huge picnic style tables and easy walking from the museums. 10 taps with lots of local beers!

I love how much space this spot has, they always have an upbeat staff and the food is really solid, especially to soak up the suds...if that's your poison.

Friends of ours took us to this restaurant for a quick bite to eat and to drink some good German beer. We had a blast while we were here. We enjoyed several appetizers including tacos, bourbon chicken wings, and potato skins. Each one was flavorful...More
