How can not love awesome milk shakes and tremendous fries and burgers. And there are other choices if you want. I actually think I went for me, not the kids, but don't tell anyone. And... it is a local place. And it's been there forever. For a reason. Go.

Even though the menu has been reworked, the pride and over eager friendly staff still will brighten your day. The food is prepared and plated like much more expensive places. It is a great place to grab a burger and a beer or try the roasted chicken in a family oriented setting.

Fun place for lunch with standard American diner food, pizza, and salads. You order and then they call your number and you go get your food. The food is not outstanding but always very solid and the value is very good. It gets busy at lunch, plan to arrive by 11:45 or wait for a bit, the "food ready" announcement... More

Try to go to EZ's every time I'm in Austin. It's in the same location as a place I used to go to when I was at UT 50 years ago. The burgers were outstanding. Much better than you might expect. They have brick oven pizzas which are excellent. The service is just as good as the food. Outstanding! Everyone... More

I used to work a few blocks from EZ's on North Lamar in Austin and visited there every few weeks. But, circumstances changed and I haven't been to lunch there in at least 5 years. I visited recently with my husband and kids, and was definitely not impressed. The service was slow, the food was bland, and it just felt... More

We walk by this place a lot. We decided to try it out. I got a vegetarian pizza and had high hopes but it failed to deliver. The base tasted and looked pre-prepared. It was just ok. Not worth raving about. We got a milkshake and wow that was delicious!!!!! Amazing milkshake! My other half got a burger and it... More

I used to eat at the EZ's locations in San Antonio, so I was really happy when my office relocated to north Austin, and just a block or two from EZ's. The building and atmosphere are nothing special, so they make up for it with the food. I've had just about everything on their menu - burgers, pizzas, calzones, pasta,... More

This is the best pizza in town! Thin crust, hand tossed and brick oven fired, it is delightful. Paired with a cup of chicken tortilla soup and a glass of wine, you have a great way to wind down in the evening. Save room for Strawberry shortcake that is anything but short and is just sinful!! Chocolate milkshakes are hard... More

My husband and I crave cheese pizza and chicken tortilla soup from Ez's! Thin, crunchy pizza fresh from a woodfired oven... Yummmmm The milkshakes are wonderful too!

My mom was in the hospital having surgery and her support group didn't want to eat hospital food so we walked across the street for lunch at EZ's. They have a pretty good variety of fast food, the prices are reasonable, the portions are large, and it's edible. If I were back at the hospital and wanted to avoid the... More
