Magnolia is what a diner should be, funky, friendly, lots of coffee and good, hearty eats. I was just turned onto this place by a long time local, and it is awesome. Just come in, and chill.

This is a favorite place to take my kids when we want to do something that feels extravagant - drive to central Austin from where ever we are and eat amazing food with THE best salsa ever. Best pancakes, fresh and tasty everything, and my especial favorite is that it feels the same (in a good way) as it did... More

This was one of my most memorable breakfasts! This diner was exactly what my husband and I were looking for this past weekend. We were exhausted from a long weekend and their food was incredibly delicious! Their pancakes were spilling over the plates, the staff had us laughing the whole time and the prices were perfect! We will be back,... More

Lots of items to choose from. We had a large group and everyone was happy with their breakfast choices. Servings were large and delicious. Quaint little restaurant kind of off the beaten path. We were walking the Lady Bird bike bath and it was a nice place to stop and refuel before finishing the trail.

Best nachos in Austin. Place is always packed, but was only a 10 minute wait. Wide variety of other food offered on the menu.

Love the atmosphere of this place, it is super cute and cozy. The food however was not great. I ordered El Greco with gluten free toast. It was basically a plate of very overcooked scrambled eggs with a few chopped up olives and tomatoes. But the worst part, my toast was not even toasted. It had been brushed lightly with... More

We had a party of 5 who were on a business trip. We needed 5 separate checks since we each had to have a receipt turn in. They were not happy with that request but ultimately did accommodate us. The food was very good and fairly large portions. A lot of their food is very spicy so be warned. The... More

A modern diner feel. Sat at the counter for breakfast. Yummy biscuits and gravy with grits. Super friendly staff who were always on top of my coffee needs.

Was visiting friends in Austin for the weekend and went to Lake Austin location for late Sunday brunch, put name on list at 1:00pm to get table for 4. We were seated about 30 min later. They had self-serve coffee set up for everyone waiting. They have some chairs & a picnic bench to sit outside while waiting for table... More

Went in just after Midnight, 24hr place where it can get crowded on certain nights. Very "Austin like" which is a good thing when it comes to food. I would have given this place a 5 if it weren't for the fact that I was sat handed my food by the food runner 25min in, and did not see the... More
