I don't really know Columbia food, but can say it is not Tex-Mex, but is absolutely familiar in a deslicious sort of way! Location: a little drive to the east side of town, passing by some of the trendy boutique type eateries and newer music venues, but well worth it! Parking can be tight, but in the evening I was... A lovely neighborhood restaurant. Good service and tasty traditional Colombian food. Band playing outside was great! Lots of drinks and dinners to choose from. Vegetarian friendly.

The best thing is the flavored, the typical Colombian flavors, the price is ok considering that Austin is more expensive than Houston were you can find multiple Colombian and latinoamericano options. The service is very slow, they are very relax so do not expect a fast service, they are nice and friendly. BTW the name is Casa Colombia no Columbia...

A friend and I went to Casa Columbia about an hour before it closed. It was VERY busy with new people walking in right up until closing. There is inside and outside seating. It was a cooler evening with a breeze so we sat outside- but the seating is along 7th st so in high traffic hours it might be... More

Great Colombian food. Many diff entree selections and apps. Fresh & presented well. Service excellent. Variety of drink offerings. Nice atmosphere Inside or Out on patio. Dined their several times and has always been consistently very good. Only wish they had a Happy hour. Not a Tex-Mex place. East Austin Favorite.

I flew in from Denver for a business meeting. The staff was overly attentive and informative. Very close to the airport and easy to find.

My Colombian friends recommended this place as the best in town. We've been a few times and we really enjoyed our meals there. The portions are very generous, we haven't been able to make it to dessert!

Knowing what you are in for is a good thing. Columbian food is spineless and about as bland as food can be prepared. If you really like cardboard that looks wonderful on your plate and is tasteless then this is it. It looks great and just like in Bogota and the rest of Columbia it has zero flavor. Plantains are... Went for brunch. Our server, Mariella, was most informative, explaining all the questions we had on the menu as well as suggesting fruit drinks & Columbian coffee. Ordered the Pericos- delicious!!! Portions were more than adequate. Priced most moderately. Would HIGHLY recommend!!!! Can't wait to do dinner!

Dining option among many recommended by friends; easy to find and be seated. Menu items well described but unfamiliar, you sort of end up guessing by the photos and description and hope for the best. Service was somewhat spotty (though it was busy and crowded - e.g. ordered Coke mid-dining which didn't arrive until I was finished with all my... More
