When my wife picked this restaurant I had my doubts as it is a fixed price of $45 for three courses selected from categories including, salads, fish, meat, and sweets. Each category had three or four selections in it most of which I recognized only in part. I pass on the salads and opted for a fish, a meat (pork)... More

We had been wanting to try to Lenoir for some time, and our daughter-in-law's birthday seemed to be the perfect occasion. This little restaurant is charming and delightful. It is tiny, tiny, so you definitely want to make a reservation, as I'm not sure how drop-ins would work. There is also a lovely outdoor area in the back where you... More

The food here is great. The pre-fixe menu has plenty of scrumptious options, although only 3 vegetarian. I didn't have a single bite that I didn't enjoy, including off my wife's plates. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the seating. There's only a few individual tables with the majority being at the bar or at the common... More

From season to season, I have loved every dining experience at Lenoir. I love the original, seasonal menu and the portion sizes. It is often not quite enough to fill the belly of my boyfriend, but additional courses can be added for a small fee. Outstanding wine list.

Small restaurant with prix fixe menu of 3 courses. Very reasonably priced for such great flavor. Chef is apparently extremely fond of beets which we are not but we were still able to find some delicious dishes. Wine list features some unusual but wonderful and reasonably priced choices. Service was excellent. Worth a visit for sure!

So i left Lenoir about 30 minutes ago and wamted to iron out this review before i put dinner behind me and tried to enjoy the rest of my new years eve. First off, Lenoir is like having 40 people over for dinner in your living room. It's extreamly cramped, loud, and hot. The decor is awesome, but when you... More

Lenoir is one of those places you have to be ready for before you visit and make sure you bring your Smart Device because you may need it to figure out what you are eating. They offer 3-4 prix fixe courses that are quite unique - at least for me. On my visit I had kabocha chawanmushi (sort of a... More

First, I would give it a 3 ½ but that’s not an option. I’m giving it the lower number because Lenoir fancies itself a very excellent restaurant. Had we wandered into a nondescript little restaurant and been served the food we had at Lenoir, I’d have given it a 4. But Lenoir is trying very hard be a Big Night... More

A gem in Austin. Lovely ambiance, with a cute bar area and both private and communal tables. Cute decor. The food is excellent, seasonal and locally sourced menu. I had a pork belly entree that was particularly notable. Highly recommended!

Small intimate restaurant close to downtown. Amazing value innovative prix fixe menu - a 4 course meal was the same price as a single course at other restaurants we sampled in Austin! Service was attentive, but not fussy and the food was exceptional. Tough to get into, but so worth it. Go there with an open mind, don't study or... More
