Wheatsville deli has recently expanded for the better. As always, the food is ethical and chemically safe. I do not worry or wonder about what I'm eating. I usually spend less than $4.00 per visit.

Everything I saw here was very over-priced. Probably is organic but that does not justify price-gouging. Will not return.

Right now Wheatsville is going through remodeling and their usual prepared food bar is not operational, neither is the cheese counter. However, I love the selections they have. I love to eat vegetables and they have unique types of enchiladas or chilis. I look forward when they set it up again. Their food counter for preparing breakfast or lunch and... More

by salads I mean the southern kind - potato salad, coleslaw and bean salads. Most if not all are vegan. The hot bar is nice in that there is a mixture of vegan and meat dishes available. The vegan chili is really good and makes a great frito pie. I suggest the beans and rice with the pico. I also... More

After a delayed flight and car rental mishap we were ready to fly back to Canada. We wandered around our apartment we rented and ran into this lovely grocery store! My spirits were immediately lifted, this place made me so happy! It made me feel like I was back at home on Vancouver island or in the heart of Paia... More

We rarely eat here, but you can get a good lunch salad with a side or two from the salad bar and be pretty happy. Hot buffet is sometimes good. The deli itself makes very good sandwiches, along with other things I haven't tried. Shopping is good for local organics, but prices are high. Very high quality milk and eggs--meat,... More

The deli has this miraculous invention called popcorn tofu. It comes in original and buffalo and both are really delicious in their own way. You can (and should) sample both. I originally thought about getting it on a sandwich, but then just ate it alone because it seriously needs nothing. They also had a vegan rice pudding that was spot-on... More

Wheatville is a great organic, healthy oriented food store that also sells ready made and made to order food. Additionally, their salad bar, while small, is great for a quick dine & dash. The people who work here are nice and earnest, all gave me the impression of what Whole Foods used to be before it blew up nationally. Nice... More

Wheatsville is a natural foods coop (all are welcome) with a nice buffet/salad bar, deli and baked goods area. The deli has a nice selection of foods from rice&beans to tacos to pimento cheese sandwiches, all well portioned and priced. The buffet/salad bar rotates through different food items on a day to day basis, and it almost always at least... More

In a town stuffed full of fast food it was wonderful to grab a delicious, healthy lunch. Paying by the weight on the hot and cold buffet you really did get what you paid for. Just wish there was one of these in my home town. Very well done
