If you are too lazy to make some your self, this place hands down is one of the best I've had for Crawfish! Oh and please don't forget about the turkey necks and gumbo! As far as the catfish is concerned, well...it's meh and needs a bit More seasoning but for the price you can't complain to much! The fish... More
We've been going to this restaurant for several years, when it first started as Top Cat, out of Dallas. The menu is largely the same as it was then, with catfish, oysters, shrimp, red beans and rice, gumbo, crawfish, and more. The catfish filets are crispy with a cornmeal breading, The French fries are fine, as are the accompanying hush... More
The food here is amazing. The crawfish and red beans and rice were full of southern flavor. Can't find too many places like this in Texas. Definitely recommend.
I hate to tell you how good this place is because it's already crowded. But, it's too good to keep quite about!! The BEST crawfish, red beans and rice, gumbo and shrimp po' boys anywhere around.

I like that you can substitute something else for french fries I... More

I knew it could not be bad once I saw a steady stream of locals from various nationalities flock to this place. I came for the catfish and it was okay. But, the red... More
My husband and I tried Bayou Cat for lunch and are glad we did. The setting is adequate but not what you would call nice, no waitstaff/order at the counter, but the food is what you come for. The shrimp po boy was excellent, the fried catfish was delicate with no fishy flavor, the red beans and rice and gumbo... More
I'm from New Orleans, LA. now live in Hurst TX about a 20 min ride to this place-one way. The seafood food is very good, Crawfish good at times. I have had better tasting seafood. Heard they are from Louisiana...I don't really know if this is true. Had a problem with my takeout, found one of the sandwiches was not... More
