Many years we have stopped at the "Big Texan" for a great meal.(since the 70's) Many times we spend the night in Amarillo, TX just to have a great meal there. They have never disappointed us. Always great food, great service and a friendly atmosphere.

Aside from the spectacle aspect of the steak eating contest, this is a fun, enjoyable steakhouse that serves awesome food and service. Best steak we have had in a long time.

This place is full of action and what the Wild West was all about. 2,000 Square foot gift shop that even has a live rattlesnake in there. We have 12 Hand-Crafted beers made on site with a beer style to fit almost any beer drinker.
