I know it's a chain but its still great bbq for a quick sandwhich. They also have some of the best sauce around.

What I like most about this place is quick service, I've never waited very long for my food. The half chicken is what I usually get and it is good. I've also tried a few of the BBQ sandwiches and they are pretty good. The sides and desserts are alright. Not bad, just not mind blowing. Pretty convenient location and... More

We needed dinner for several people at short notice. What a perfect deal. Lived up beyond our expectations. Food delicious and service impeccable. We thoroughly enjoyed the bounty.

This place is interesting, a small gas station, with a small convenience store and a large BBQ restaurant. The BBQ is alright, as good as or better than the other two I've tried in Allen. Service is friendly and efficient, they don't have much going for sides though and the price is a bit high for what you get. They... More

Food taste - not great, certainly not the best BBQ I've ever had, or even close. Value - HORRIBLE! You pay by the pound, so let's say you ask for 1/2 lb. of brisket for $8.49. Watch the scale!! You'll find yourself with 3/4 lb or even more, and pay for every ounce. But the menu says $8.49? That's for... More

We visited Rudy's in Allen after watching NCWA wrestling national championships. Stopped in with two PSU Mont Alto wrestlers after their tournament was over. What an amazing place. Beer, Bar B Que, and gas. Only in Texas. We had a brisket sandwich, pulled pork and baked potato the size of a car and amazing cream corn. What a great place... More

The four of went to Rudy's to get the BBQ fix! 3 had brisket and I had turkey, lots of bread, sauce and potato salad ( best in the metroplex) later we rolled out the door. The place is easy enough to find on the frontage road next to Cabela's on I75.

Rudy's is a highway style bbq place that features a great selection of bbq meats with typical brisket, ribs and sausage but also turkey and prime rib. Tubs of iced beers and soft drinks. They open at 6 am every day and serve terrific breakfast burritos. Two gas pumps outside always offer among the least expensive gasoline in North Texas.... More

Great barbecue. There are other, more well-known joints around but this place is my favorite. Chopped beef sandwich with creamed corn and a medium RC Cola... Man - that hits the spot! This is a quirky, fun restaurant with gasoline station and is reminiscent of the times-past country gas stations -- a welcome spot in the heart of a thoroughly... More

Chewy meats and sides that taste like they came out of a can...? I'll pass on this chain of subpar BBQ joints. Texas can do much better.
