I'm not really sure why people love this place. The food is fine but that's about it. I've tried the burrito, but it was FULL of beans. Almost like they forgot the meat. The enchiladas are good, but not special. It's pretty cheap, so its worth going. But if you're looking for better food, pretty sure you can find it.... More

Totally meets expectations if you are looking for very reasonably priced greasy Mexican food. Food has good flavor, lots of it for the price with good chops and salsa.

My wife had tried this restaurant a few months with co-workers, and she said, "Meh, it was OK but nothing special." I completely agree. It's fine... average to slightly above average. I went for lunch at 1:15 pm on a Thursday, and the service was extremely quick. That was a plus. There are just so many very, very good Mexican... More

Love the Heritage of the restaurant. Food was average, which doesn't mean bad, just nothing special. Our server seemed a little distracted even though the restaurant was busy, although I did appreciate Manager checking to see how things was going.

My wife and I went here for lunch on a Saturday. We tried their bean and cheese nachos and their cheese enchiladas. Their complementary chips were excellent. The salsa was a bit too mild for me. The nachos were a single layer of chips but very generously covered with cheese and beans. The cheese enchiladas were very good, as were... More

This chain is supposedly pretty good. If I have to judge by this branch- I won't agree. My baked Talapia was insipid . Everything seemed to be so 'second hand' quality. The surprising part was when they charged for a small bowl of mocahetal ( pepper sauce) $2.99 and to my amazement even for a chopped up hellapeno pepper!!! $0.69... More

El Fenix has been around for decades. Family owned. I grew up in Dallas enjoying their Tex Mex offerings. They have several restaurants but their food is far from typical chain food. Friendly waiters, a variety of Tex Mex dishes, served fast, hot and delicious. Their queso and cheese enchiladas with chile con carne are awesome. I live in California... More

The service is good. The food is great. The margaritas are the greatest. I had a peach margarita and a mango margarita. Everyone in the party ordered differently, and there were no complaints. The restaurant was very clean.
