Most hotel restaurants are over-priced and not that good. Q de Cheval bucked the trend. I ate there once for lunch and once for dinner during my stay, and the food was both delicious and a good value for the price both times.

After having room service two nights in a row, I decided to venture down to the "Fine Dining" at Q de Cheval. It may have been a slow night, but I only recall seeing a Manager and the server. While polite, professional, and mostly attentive, I was underwhelmed because I couldn't connect any of the surroundings to being a "Fine... More

I have been coming here for the past ten years. This place is steadfast. Traditional brunch fare-carving station, omelettes, shrimp cocktails, and several dishes that infuse Texan cuisine into the staples (eggs Benedict on grits with jalapeños). Wonderful setting with either harp player or violinist. Nice throwback response to today's trendy, crowded brunch options.

As far as Brunch spots go this one is the best I have found in Dallas! It is a Brunch Buffett, but is elegant (either harpist or violinist filling the space with background ambiance, the harpist was just playing hotel California on the harp) Bloody Mary, mimosa, champagne, or all three if you like. A prime rib carving and omelette... More

staff looked tired, slow and bored. no smiles. reception employee demonstrates her boredom by constantly pacing around the restaurant versus doing her reception job chatting with other wait staff taking them also away from their work. ordered an omelet where they forgot the bacon served hot and slightly on the small size for 16 bucks - their 5 bucks lattes... I stayed at the hotel for a convention. So I dined for many meals in the restaurant due to convenience. It is priced as most hotel restaurants and the quality was better than most.

I actually had my wedding rehearsal dinner here in a private room. The atmosphere was elegant and the food was fantastic. It's a great romantic spot if you're looking for something a little outside the box.

You will find above average dinning for a large hotel at this first floor restaurant. Their morning buffet is great and it is all u can eat, or order from standard menu. Fresh fruit and several entries cover 30 feet of counters for your selection at the AM buffet. Lunch & dinners are limited to a menu. Great service and... More

We went to the Hotel Intercontinental for Sunday brunch. There was lovely background music and elegant atmosphere. The room was spacious enough so we didn't feel crowded despite its popularity. We could also hear well enough to enjoy conversation at our table for 5. The food was beautifully displayed and very generous. There were delicious offerings for everyone's taste and... More

I wanted to reserve a table for my wife to celebrate Mother's day. Everything was fine until I mentioned that I would not be eating due to my life-threatening shellfish allergy. The host said that he would have to charge me anyway for taking up a seat at the table we were going to reserve. This is absolutely unacceptable. This... More
