I visited the prior location in Downtown a few months prior on a business trip and loved it! Quaint location, attentive service and great value especially considering the local fare. Sadly, I was very disappointed with the new location. Terrible service to the point I...More

For the last three years or do I’ve been a fan and enjoyed this restaurant. Like many regulars, when they recently relocated from the historic downtown to the Springhill Golf Club I was skeptical. It is big change from the historic space but is still...More

My husband and I have been fans of Cellar Cat since it opened downtown. While at first leery of the move to the Albany Event Center and Golf Club, (formerly Springhill Country Club), we find we really prefer it. I like the ambience, outdoor seating...More

We played 9 holes at Springhill Golf today and must have seen 5 signs boasting that Cellar Cat was now open as the restaurant at Springhill Golf Center. 'Open brunch to 9 or 10pm'. At 3pm when we finished golf, we went in to get...More

Thank you Lookin4Luxury for giving us a try. When the opportunity to move to the golf club came in early June we jumped at the chance! The question was: to close and stay closed for the 3 - 4 months it would take to transition...More

Dear Will, I am sorry that of the 38 people participating in the all-you-can-eat for $14 made-fresh-from-scratch-taco bar that you didn't find it a value. Our fabulous award-winning chef was a great sport to be willing to even do this sort of last-minute cater job...More

Not sure we would revisit the Cellar Cat. If you are into expensive wines, exotic cheese boards and the associated mindset. Then, this might be the place for you. The service was excellent.More

Thank you BoolySpark for giving us a shot. Our wines range from $7 a glass up to $165 a bottle and we refuse to serve big box winery wines that can be purchased at Fred Meyers and Costco; we are a small family restaurant and...More

My family went to Cellar Cat for Mother's Day Brunch. I really liked the atmosphere with the old brick walls & the cat décor. They had a menu brunch, not a buffet brunch. I started with a Tempranillo Sangria cocktail, which was terrible. I should...More

Dear Frequent Flyer, I am so sorry that you were so disappointed on Mother's Day! I am glad your Mom, however, liked it (as did the other 200+ visitors we had that day). Our Cordon Bleu graduated executive chef (degree in pastry) was saddened to...More

Thank you Bill for visiting! The Wine Walk was indeed very well intended and of all the nights to have 1)the kitchen printer go down, 2) the deep fryer break down, 3)the pantry fridge croak. Good lord! THANK YOU for the review and for patiently...More

Had a wonderful brunch! What a great start to our weekend. When we arrived, the atmosphere was inviting, staff were endearing, music was soft and happy. Loved the old touches of brick and wood. We devoured the croissants and cheese platter. We highly recommend those!

Description
Cellar Cat is a wine-centric bistro and bar in historic downtown Albany Oregon. With our multi-award winning executive chef, our award-winning mixologist and the friendliest, most welcoming and attentive servers around, Cellar Cat is THE go-to place for dinner. lunch, brunch or a leisurely craft beer or bottle of wine enjoyed on a lazy afternoon. Our New American food is honest (the seasonal ingredients fresh, not hidden beneath heavy sauces or trickery). Our century-old brick building is kept cozy with the help of linen tablecloths and tapestry wall hangings. French-onion soup. Croissant bread pudding. New York Steak. Glorious fried chicken with mashed potatoes. Weekend additions. House made pastas. Smoked beef brisket sandwiches. Steak salad. The list, the deliciousness, goes on and on. Craft brews on tap. Classic and contemporary "cat tails". Marvelous wine. Cellar Cat - the North West's new cultural center and home away from home. THE place to Be Here Now. Meow.
