I really like the falafel pita. This is a must on those rare occasions when I get back to Athens. I was tempted to try the spicy black bean burger pita but I will try that next time. The American favorites are also pretty good.

With little time and I wanted a healthy option the pita pit was a great find. I got the hummus pita with tons of veggies. It was very good, filling.

I thought it would be a great - but I walked in and it is a little hole in the wall, not very attractive, small restaurant. The were 3 young ladies working and it was clear that they were not wanting to be there(it was Sunday around noon). I felt like I was an imposition. So I ordered the Gyro... More

I am a HUGE fan of Pita Pit dating back to when I was in college. Their pitas were always stuffed to the brim with the best ingredients you could ask for. I have been to a number of Pita Pits, like the ones in Champaign, West Lafayette (now closed), Bowling Green, and Athens. I went to the Athens' Pita... More

I have been a loyal pita pit customer for years but I have limited my visits significantly after a change in management. In the past, pita pit was very laid back with friendly service and generously stuffed pitas. With the new corporate feel, it's as if every olive and speck of feta is counted before being applied to my pita.... More

Select your own ingredients for a quick healthy meal. Eating-in atmosphere includes obnoxious fluorescent lights and limited seating. You can order to go and they deliver as well. Watch out for all the burritos on the sidewalk by early Sunday a.m. I guess it sounds like a good idea, but the drunks don't take more than a bite or two... More

Great place to eat healthy with lots of fresh ingredients to put in your pita. Lot of variety for the different types of pitas so should please everyone. Went with 6 people and service was fast. About $7 -$8 per pita. There are not many places to sit so walk over to the Courthouse on Court street and enjoy
